My high school students absolutely love this literature app. The only issue keeping it from earning five stars in my book is the fact that subtitles cannot be displayed in full screen mode. The videos make the story come to life. The summaries are a great pre-reading tool. One of my favorite features is the word highlighting. Students can click on Shakespearian words or phrases and have alternative words displayed to aid comprehension.
Again... Please work on getting the subtitles to show in full screen mode. This would drastically help your clients who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
A few bugs here and there. I wish you could highlight every box of text so you can look up words in the iPhone dictionary. Other than that it’s great to be able to watch the play and read it at the same time. I hope they update it so it continues to be available for future iOS versions.
Romeo and Juliet
This is an amazing app! If you don't get some of the things that people say you can press the word and you know! I recommend this app for anyone who loves Shakespeare😀
