Basic functionality is excellent, and the bell sound is charming, but ...

(1) The app needs a volume control, and

(2) The displays of hour angle of sun and moon only update at the moment the app becomes active. How about more often, say once a minute?

Thank you for appreciating the bell sounds. Thank you for the volume adjustment suggestion. The sun and moon position do update every minute. Occasionally I've seen them freeze up and have had to restart the app. It's so seldom that I haven't been able to reproduce it. I've opened an issue to track it and keep me reminded about it. Now that app is working with Apple update it is doing so perfectly. Great replacement for “Marine Bells” that bailed on their app. Bell sound: Perfect. Bell count: Perfect. Clock information: Perfect. You will have no control over this app as it is entirely automatic. It does mute during “Sleep “ and knows your location. This is the only GENUINE AND RELIABLE ship’s clock offered. The others are junk!!!

It bad. Very accurate except that ships don’t ring bells at night. Needs a way to set silence times. As it is I have to silence the whole phone.

Thank you for the suggestion to provide settings that silence the bells during certain periods. The app does not have this because it duplicates function on your device that provides do not disturb periods.
