A small utility that provides links to your frequently used files, folders, websites, applications. Help you to keep your Desktop and Dock bar clean. Help you easier to organize your folders and files. Make quick notes and improve your productivity. Support Dark Mode. Use it to create shortcuts to files, folders, applications you use regularly. When running, the application shows an asterisk icon in the Menu Bar. Clicking it, you'll see a menu that displays shortcuts you have added before. Too many icons in the Dock or Desktop can make it harder to find what you’re looking for and is more distracting when you work. Furthermore, the Desktop is usually hidden and what you want to access cannot be quickly accessed unless you put it in the Menu Bar. Make your quick notes, memorize your thoughts. They all live in the menu bar for faster access.

Problems with Shortcuts In Menubar app:

Problems:1. The app menu doesn’t have a keyboard shortcut for show and hide.2. The new note command keyboard shortcut doesn’t do anything and can’t be changed.3. I can’t drag and drop finder items or links or text or images to the Short Cuts In Menubar toolbar icon for inclusion into shortcuts lists.4. There is no way to delete a note.5. There is no way to add or access a Share to Short Cuts In Menubar item to the Share service menu.6. Even when I remove an icon for a web link item, that icon shows up in the app list.7. There is no Tutorial video available.8. Application Icons don’t appear.9. Finder folder and document icons do not appear.10. App menu and Notes panel can not be made to stay on screen.11. No keyboard shortcuts support for common actions (show menu, hide menu, new note, show last note, hide last note, delete note, etc.).12. No option to set menubar Icon to the "Shortcuts In Menubar” application’s default icon?!?!13. Won’t display nested folders or files14. Notes pane is vissually ugly and wastes space (should simply show the note contents with first line formmatted as title).Great potential. Not ready for prime time!

Hi, thanks for your review. I sincerely apologize for not being more supportive and responsive. I have updated the app to the new version. All the features you requested cannot be available right away, but I promise to add them in future versions as soon as possible. Finder items or links or text,... cannot be dragged and dropped to the toolbar icon, but you can drag and drop them to the Preferences window. To delete a note, you drag the note title and drop it outside the Preferences window.
