Simple Battery Monitor shows remaining time, charge percentage and battery status in a compact menu bar app.
* It warns you with an orange arrow icon when some apps consume too much power.
* Time remaining adapts to your usage and when some demanding apps start consuming too much power it shows time remaining as if those consuming apps continue to run.
* You can view cycle count in the status menu
* Notifies when the battery is low and the battery level is critical.
* Time remaining is for both charging and discharging.
* It shows the estimated time in case of unplugged when it is charging
* With new 80%-20% Mode you can be notified when charging reaches 80% and when discharging reaches to 20% battery levels for better battery health.

Battery life indicator
I am now unsure which indicator is correct, the Mac supplied dock reference or this app. The computer interanl Mac reading says I have 82% remaining battery life and rhe app says 78%. Which one is correct?

Thank you for using Simple Battery Monitor.
I use a different battery charge computation method. MacOS considers the battery is full when it is actually around 95% full and computes the remaining charge based on this level.
I take 100% as the full level and this may result in around 4%-5% difference.
doesn't seem accurate
I like the design, but the percentage is not accurate. Shows 33% while system prefs and bettery medic both show 26%. Computer turned off yesterday when this app was still showing enough that it should have stayed on a while longer.

Thank you for your review. Version 1.6 comes with a few improvements, particularly for Apple Silicon Devices (M1, M2, M3). I hope it fixes the issue.
Time to empty is way off
Kinda nice. But the time to empty keeps showing six minutes since the battery is 100% charged. The only reason I keep the app is because it shows the cycle count of the battery. Other than that, it is no added value.
