It's nice. Pretty picture. The new theater environment is cool.But two big problems that make it annoying to use currently:(1) No "Skip back 10/15 seconds" feature. The < Back and > Forward controls skip back to the very beginning of a media file, or to the next one, which is really never what I want to do, and doesn't need a dedicated main icon for if I did (easy enough to go back to a fileswitcher on the very rare cases it's necessary). But if I mishear something, or get distracted, it's pretty difficult to go just back 10 or 30 seconds, to catch it again. This also doesn't match most of the other default vOS media players. EDIT: I realized it actually IS possible. Have to HOLD the forward/back buttons, not tap. Confusing, but it works. Updating the review from 3 to 4 stars.(2) Why do videos totally stop whenever the app loses focus? E.g. just opening another app in the background, Stop the video. Try to change a setting, Stop the video. Very annoying.I'm on the fence about asking for a refund. I think I'll hold off, bc I do want to support more video players, but as is, I'm sad to say I don't quite love this experience yet. Maybe going back to VLC iPad app? Ugh.

Version 1.2.2 is, by far, the best 3D video player for SBS 3D. It doesn’t suffer from stuttering like Moon Player and has full multi channel audio unlike 4XVR Player. That said, the current store release is still 1.2.1 and still has several bugs. Release 1.2.2 already. It’s been ready for a while.

I have the SKYBOX VR application installed on my MacBook Air. I paid the requisite $10, downloaded the app on my AVP, and opened up a video (created on an insta360 EVO) on my Mac through the SKYBOX air screen function on my Apple Vision Pro. The video had trouble buffering and only played in fits and starts. I tried opening up another video with that was shot on my canon R5 C with dual Fish eye lens, and that video also had the same problem. Now, when I try to open similar videos, it says the videos are too large to encode and/or shows the player and dims but does not open the video. I’m really hoping that you can get this app to work smoothly, as it works well on the quest 3 and I want it to work similarly on the Apple Vision Pro. Will update/upgrade my review if the functionality improves.

There was a lot of promise to be able to view VR180 pictures in this app. But unfortunately, you can only view one and then have to exit out to the menu, select another, exit out. Each time. Try and select more than one and you might be able to see a second one, but it’ll crash out by the third or fourth picture guaranteed. It would be nice for it to auto-advance to the next picture (there is, in fact, an “image display time” setting, but all it will do is count down and re-play the same image you were looking at. Forever, even if you’ve selected 2-10 other images). Like I said, clearly abandoned, do not buy. Not even the best app for videos
