Sleepagotchi - Sleep Game 4+

This little old game has me thinking more about my sleep habits than ever before . Why? It makes me focus and keeps the thought process closer to the front of my brain. It’s early in my engagement experience, but love it so far.

This app went from a really fun daily distraction to non-sensical and pointless over night. Sleepagotchi was something I could pickup and mess around with a little each day. Wake up and claim my reward for a good nights sleep, make sure my streak was still going, check my leaderboard position and work toward upgrading my room to squeeze out as many point bonuses I could. Now it’s just a cash grab, micro transactions for stars that buy you items. No sign of a leaderboard or any sort of interaction with other players (buying/selling, etc) Even the items themselves went from an easy to understand upgrade system to a complicated mess of “upgrades” and different item types and locked behind rooms. Seemingly no reward for my loyalty during the previous versions either! Put a lot of time into decorating, upgrading, etc all to be wiped out in this version. …just a shame v2 went in this direction. Fun while it lasted!

We agree that it was many interesting features in the first season but hopefully, you will enjoy all the bonuses we prepared for users in Sleepagotchi 2.0. The leaderboard and interactions with other players will come back soon improved! Also, rewards for previous achievements will be provided in the near time

I’ve been using this app since the first version. As another review mentioned, it used to have many interesting features: you had your own room and could customize it buy purchasing and selling items with points you earned by sleeping. I can understand where the update was trying to expand upon the original version, but it has entirely removed every enjoyable feature. There is no marketplace to interact with other users, no customization, no incentive to sleep better as the game generates coins consistently. I held on for a while, mostly because there is no app in the App Store like the first version I loved so much, but after a few updates with no significant improvement, I’m finally saying goodbye :/

We are very pleased to hear that the first version of the application held a place in your heart. We have prepared many new exciting features for the second version, including interaction with all players. As you mentioned, the game consistently generates coins, but you earn gems and item parts based on the quality of sleep. Dino will always be happy to see you again! We hope there will be another opportunity to get to know Sleepagotchi 2.0 more closely.
