Do you like pushing buttons and shouting at your friends? Do you like discharging Clip-jawed Fluxtrunions? If you answered yes, or no, then you might have what it takes to be on a Spaceteam.
Spaceteam is a cooperative party game for 2 to 8 players who shout technobabble at each other until their ship explodes. Each player needs a mobile device (phone, tablet, iPod Touch, etc)
You'll be assigned a random control panel with buttons, switches, sliders, and dials. You need to follow time-sensitive instructions. However, the instructions are being sent to your teammates, so you have to coordinate before the time runs out. Also, the ship is falling apart. And you're trying to outrun an exploding star.
Good luck. And remember to work together... as a Spaceteam!

Used to play this game years and years ago, back in what was probably middle school. In college now, so remembering this game existed was a huge nostalgia hit.
I’m immediately redownloading and I’m gonna convince all my roommates to do the same. Playing this game with my dad back then was such a great way to pass the time and a really good memory to look back on-I texted him about it trying to remember the name and he knew what I was talking about just by texting “rocket ship panel an communication”. I’m gonna talk him into playing next time I see him, but for now, my roommates (and best friends) will have to do.
Thanks for the good memories, and I hope I’ll make more (if me and my roommates don’t kill each other playing, of course)!
I first got this app on a work trip to an elementary teacher’s conference a decade ago. My coworkers and I had such a lot of fun! It takes the right kind of group (folks who can deal with being stressed out and yelled at - what does that say about teachers?) Last year, my ESL-teacher friends and I played it at my birthday party and wow it’s still fun! This was the first app I ever bought anything in (indeed there have only been a few over the years), purely because it gave me so much joy that first weekend; I still enjoy using the “origami” theme and activating the ship’s cat. Glad to see it featured by Apple!
Pretty fun, great real-life teamwork game. Well done!
I was impressed by how fun this was. I’ve only played with one other person, but I can’t wait to try it out with more friends. You can only play with others physically present, which limits when I can play, but when I do play it’s a lot of fun. Unlike most mobile games, this game requires teamwork in real life, and it’s a refreshing change to mobile games!
Keep up the good work!
My only suggestion would be to somehow provide cross-platform support, though I realize it’s not possible at the moment. 👍
Developer Response ,
Thanks for the kind words! In case you haven't discovered, you *can* play cross-platform using Wifi or Internet modes. Only Bluetooth mode is restricted by platform.
