I spent many hours playing this while in middle and high school. Sadly, it is no longer compatible with the newer versions of macOS.

Updated “Super Mega Worm,” took a relatively fun, but clumsy, retro game to a new level (unacceptable) on my Mac Book. Now all the figures and the worm travel in a herky jerky manner. When I want to stop playing the game, it refuses to shut down and I must force quit. I am not much of a gamer but the prior version played much smoother on my machine. I have uninstalled and re-installed the new version 3 X w/o any changes in the current poor performance of the new version. Too bad the designers broke something with the new fixes. I’m not going to waste any more time on this version. It’s history.

This game was much better with the old controls. The new controlls are difficult and frustrating. I would never think that pressing the right key would eventually lead me left. I cannot freely move around in this game. The old controlls worked much better.
