I loved this app. But i'm only giving it 4 because it keeps crashing. When i started using it i was wowwed by it. However, while i was working on a drawing and just about to finish the app. crashed all the 4 hours of work i had done was gone. Sure I take part of responsiblity for not saving the work. I guess i was distracted by all the great tools and features that i completedly let it slip. Just until i realized what happen. By then my work was gone. I had to start over. The app. has crashed 3 times since i started using it on April 11. I purchased too, so this is very disappointing that i have to deal with this. Please fix this issues. I have a newer MacBook air. So what's the problem? I wanted a program i could use on my laptop. I don't really like working on iPad.

This app is by no means all bad. I'd go as far as to say it's pretty good. In my experience, all the tools work fine, and I have actually made a sketch that I was proud of. The key word being was. I accidentally pressed the eraser tool twice while trying to switch to it (for reference, it clears the entire screen). At first, I thought it was fine; I've done it before and the undo button fixes it. For some reason however, it didn't work. An hours worth of work, all gone to the click of a button. It doesn't autosave, either. And this isn't the first time. Even if it hadn't deleted, I wouldn't be able to finish the drawing anyway-layers are paywalled.To summarize: it's way too easy to lose work and the lack of layers makes it hard to make finished pieces. I do think this could be saved easily, just add autosaves, layers to the free version, and make it harder to clear the screen. Once again, it's a fine platform. I just don't think I'll be spending money on it.

I had the sketches app on my phone for a while and using the pro version has definitely been a help. So when I saw that it was available to mac as well, I snatched it up. I think the mac version preforms beautifully however I do have a suggestion to make. Although there are plenty of styles with size options for each tool, I think a great feature would be to have the same various styles but you can choose the width you want. Maybe I'm not using the app correctly but I mean adjusting between maybe size 5 for the biggest and size .01 for the smallest width. Maybe the sizes could be larger and smaller. All I know is that this option is available on the phone/tablet version but not for mac. Other than that I think the app was designed beautifully. Can't wait to continue using it.

I love your app and others. But often when you update you chage the tool which forces me to change my style, often to my creative detriment.Case in point- an update or 2 ago you changed the blending tool.It used to offer a soft blend- now it has a wobbly or paint-mix blend which looks sort of psychedelic. Not an effect I'm looking for. It has it's use but can you also offer the soft blend effect?Also, could you put a darker or graph style background rather than the off white? Or make it an option to choose?Your app is my most used app.
