I’ve been using TextNow for a while, and it’s a solid option if you need a second phone number. The setup is super easy, and the fact that it’s free (with ads) is a huge plus. It’s great for things like separating work from personal calls or even for temporary use when you don’t want to share your main number. That said, the free version has a lot of ads, which can get annoying. If you upgrade to the paid version, it’s much smoother, but the free one still works well if you’re on a budget. The call quality is decent most of the time, but it really depends on your Wi-Fi or data connection—if your signal’s weak, the calls can drop or lag. Overall, it’s a good app for what it’s meant to do. If you’re okay with ads or willing to pay a bit to remove them, it’s definitely worth checking out.
