Fantastic update

The new app is fully functional! So much better than the previous one! They did a first-rate update from top to bottom!

No way to save and recall articles from the app

Unable to save and recall articles from the app but only the web site.

Neither the app nor the web site give enough space for more than a brief comment and there is no running counter to say if your comment is too long until you try to submit it.

A dark mode will be introduced in an upcoming release.

Can you also contact us at support@thelocal.com so we can check with you about your comments not displaying.

Restricted to one country now

This app was far more useful before the update. As a paying member I now have to choose only one default country for news. If I want to switch to news for another country I have to login again each time. I don’t want to be forced to deal with that paywall. That’s why I pay for a membership.
