Excellent with a few big limitations

Tipi is an excellent app for institutional knowledge capture and discussion, for groups large and small. It’s easy to learn, easy to use, isn’t bogged down by feature sprawl, and it’s priced right. Additionally the web and iOS user experiences are well-designed and consistent across platforms. The addition of a few features would make this a 5-star app/service: 1) some way to backup or archive data to a local store, preferably in an open format, 2) support for embeds such as Vimeo in posts, and 3) Dropbox integration. But alas, it seems development has stalled or ceased altogether and I have yet been able to get any kind of response from support. Hopefully the devs are either having a well-deserved vacation or working behind the scenes but as of today I am hesitant to fully engage with Tipi out of fear that one day it will just disappear and take my data with it.
