Computer is getting much more difficult
I love this game and have been playing it for several years. But.....I think the computer figures out when you are getting better at the game and makes it far more difficult to win. I was winning over 62% of the time and now suddenly it’s almost impossible to win at all. The computer can, of course, see every possible move to make involving switching multiple cards on the table in one play. I have discovered that now that I can make 3 or 4 switches in one play and was winning a good bit of the time, the game has now started making 5, 6 or even 7 or more switches in a play, more than a human player can likely figure out.
Is it possible to set a degree of difficulty in the game to feel that one has a fighting chance?
The computer can open after the deal 70 percent of the time. It’s frustrating to always start out behind.
When the computer can’t meld first time, it rarely goes more the 5 turns before it can open. I just finished a game that I had 6 doubles and computer had none. I kept track of all of computers play. This is getting more lopsided than ever before. I used to love playing this, but it's getting more uneven than ever. I may give it up and not recommend it to friends anymore.
Looking at other reviews, there aren't any new ones. Hmmmm, could it be it's not as great as it could be.
The only problem is the computer wins 9 out of 10 games.
