I'm not sure yet if it actually increases brain function, but as a relaxation tool, it's ah-ight. The ocean animation is fine. Would like to see an improvement on the rain one though. The overly blue, close-up shot of drops on the water isn't very peace inducing to me. It made me feel confined, as if I were locked in a tank of blue liquid. A wider shot of drops on a serene, misty pond or lake would be better. Same with the stream...too close-up. Again, I felt confined; my face being held on the ground with only a few dead leaves and the edge of the stream in view. A nice wide shot with the stream in the foreground, clouds, a meadow, and a forest in the background would put this app over the top. I had no trouble with it shutting off on my lockscreen. It still ran just fine. Lots of good potential with this app.

I love this app! The female speaker is natural, whereas other subliminal apps I have used are male and you can tell they are trying to sound monotone and soothing, which is what I end up listening for. It distracts me and defeats the purpose. I have to agree with the only other reviewer that unless I change the lock setting to none, the app stops when the ipod automatically locks. I use my charging clock, and set the sleep timer and that will turn off my IPod when the program is done. I have noticed I do sleep better, but my weight loss journey has a ways to go and I do think these apps help support my efforts. I have recommended to my friends in the hopes that they will like them too!

Now let me explain that. There are a few apps by this developer and they're great! Inside each one is a store where you can go and buy more hypnosis programs. This option is wonderful because I'd rather have as few app icons as possible. However, if you buy a program in one, we'll call it a parent app, and you have another parent app, the purchase isn't available in it unless you buy it again. If the developers would change that one aspect, these would be the perfect meditation and hypnosis apps and I'd have all my friends using it!

I got this app to help me with school. I am studying to become a DVM. I am also a mother of four. This app has helped me tremendously. The best thing is I play it at night when my husband and I are in bed and I have noticed the difference in has memory ability. Will be trying other apps like it. Keep up the good work!
