Translit Keyboard lets you use your normal English QWERTY keyboard to type letters in another alphabet — a technique known as "transliteration". For example, with the Old Slavonic keyboard, you can type a word like "ponchik" and see it transform into "пончик" right as you type. You don't have to wait or press any buttons: just type it out like it sounds! If you write in multiple languages but type fastest on an English keyboard, or if you're learning a foreign language and want to avoid studying an entirely new keyboard layout, this app will be perfect for you. The Lite version includes the Old Slavonic keyboard. If you would rather use the standard phonetic layout for your Russian typing, give the Russian Phonetic Keyboard a try: http://itunes.apple.com/app/id937350067 Built using Tasty Imitation Keyboard — the gnarliest open source software keyboard to ever grace the platform, dude!
