Are you planning a long distance trip in your Tesla Model S, Model X or Model 3? Or do you just ask yourself how it would be to plan a trip with a Tesla? With the app "Trip for Tesla" you can estimate the approximate travel time and the time that you need for charging stops. This way you can get a feeling how long the relaxed electric trip would take you. Or if you are a Tesla owner you can simply add a trip to your calendar and - once you are seated in your Tesla - start the navigation with a single fingertip.

We are looking forward to your feedback to improve your trip planning experience. Feel free to contact us any time and send an email to

Destination charger unclear

I plan to drive to South Lake Tahoe from the Bay Area. I like the developer ‘ s response despite the low rating.

It shows the supercharger near my starting point with a red flag. When I click it it show what is that supercharger place. I lived near the Tesla factory so it shows that.

For the destination it also shows a red flag for a super charging station. When I click it there is no additional info available. When I zoom the map it shows an intersection of a road. This doesn’t give me any confidence that it is indeed a charging station.

Listen, the destination super charging station is what people need. I know what stations I have near many home.

Hi Gatorinca,

thank you for your feedback!

I guess you thought that the destination flag is a Supercharger. My fault! I changed the color of the destination flag the new version 1.6 that is out now so that this can not happen again. Thank you for pointing it out!

I also modified the app so that Superchargers will be displayed whether they are on the planned route or not. This will give you the opportunity to top up en route or around your destination.

Have a safe trip!

Not as advertised at all

I downloaded this app so I could put in my final destination and it would tell me where the Superchargers are along the way. When you put in your destination, it’s just like google maps - it just shows you how to get there, and doesn’t display the superchargers along the way (like in the image advertised). The map of superchargers is on a different display screen and cannot be combined with your navigation directions (falsely advertised as such). I paid $4.99 for this app and if I had the time to argue for a refund, I would. There are free apps that show the Tesla superchargers, so there is literally no point of this app. So stupid.

Hi OMGREALLY123, I just read your review and I think you might still get what you wanted :) Did you try a longer distance trip - maybe your trip was doable without charging? Let’s go on the map to Seattle and tap on the car icon - your start ing point will be in Seattle now. Then tap on the flag and type “San Francisco” as destination and tap on “Route”. Depending on the model and the battery level you chose you will see the route and at least 6 stops. Isn’t that what you were expecting? And one more thing, once you have your trip calculated you can add it from within the app to your calendar. And when you start the trip in your Tesla, you just have to confirm that you start your trip and it shows you the route on the map ;) If you have further questions you can write us anytime to

Amending first review

I cross-checked with other Tesla info and see that this App includes all the Superchargers. This will certainly be a key part of my trip planning.

It looks great but will confirm and update when I’m back in a few weeks.

Thank you! That’s music to our ears :)
