I didn’t think to look up the app download before purchasing or I would have never paid for this stupid thing. It doesn’t work! Now to find the stupid ad on Facebook to leave my review there.

Watched an ad with a lady running through different companies with a hand held device. I clicked the link and ordered the device. When I got the device and found it had to be paired with my iPhone while using an app, I went ahead and downloaded the app and paired to my iPhone. The app says it is paired. The device doesn’t work. I can’t press one button, speak into it, let go of that button, and then here the translation to the destination language. I can’t push the other button on the device to allow the other person to speak in, release the button, and hear the response in my language. All that happens when I push either of the buttons is for the device to declare: DISCONNECTED!I set it up properly in the app. Don’t be duped by this foul product like I was. Don’t be duped by the ad that is rather prevalent on Facebook and Instagram that has the English lady running around through Asia with a working device. Save your money.

I really have to apologize, I left a very poor review earlier because all I could get it to do was say disconnecting… But I uninstalled then reinstalled the app, and miraculously it started working perfectly! In fact I have a German friend that lives next-door, and I went over there and had a complete conversation with him for 20 minutes perfectly! Now he wants to get one! So I must apologize for my previous review, and to you other folks that had the same problem try uninstalling and reinstalling the app again and see if it’ll work for you too, because it really works great once you get it going lol

I just got this today- connected to the app on my iPhone and connected to Bluetooth. I didn’t know it required an app or Bluetooth so I’m not a huge fan of that. BUT! So far the device is working and pretty cool! I can speak into it and translate into different languages! I can type and translate! I can take a photograph of text and translate! I like that when you speak into it- the text appears on the app- ensuring that the microphone and app picked up on what you said correctly. The app seems a little glitchy to be honest- but for the most part I think this product is really cool for studying language!
