VatScope is really awesome. Used it for a long while now and I definitely think it's the best VATSIM scope app around for mobile.From my usage, I have a few suggestions for potential improvement. This is just my opinion, of course.1) When you select an airport and want to, for example, select the "ATC" tab, it takes two motions: swipe up to expand the popup and then tap "ATC." I think this could be simplified to one tap by automatically expanding the airport popup whenever ARR, DEP, or ATC is selected.2) I think it would be cool to have some graphical icons representing what positions are staffed at a given airport. Like, a simple letter D for DEL, G for GND, T for TWR, and so on. Maybe this could appear next to the airport "pin" icon on the map or next to the title or something on the popup window. I could see this maybe causing a cluttered look, but just a thought.3) This is not really a minor thing and I don't know if it'd go against the intended visual style of the app, but I think it'd be nice to have a few variations of airplane icons for different types of aircraft. Right now everything has a generic airliner shape - perhaps there could be a generic Cessna-type icon, a helicopter icon, a fighter jet icon, and an airliner icon or something along those lines. Sort of like how Flightradar24 does it.Thanks for writing this app. I don't take offense if none of these suggestions come to fruition, but I just wanted to offer my opinion!

Excellent app for simmers!

This is an excellent app and something I use daily for simming. One thing I would like to see is the ability to filter by aircraft type. Sometimes I enjoy seeing which aircraft are in the sky and would love to see this as a feature released in a later version.

Nice friend okay honey
This is the best VATSIM server explorer for iOS. It is extremely helpful both as a pilot and a controller since the app parses every bit of data possible, such as online time, ATIS message, voice servers, etc.For 5 stars, add an automatic refresh feature. It gets confusing when you forget to refresh the data. Once a minute would be awesome.Another idea that would be great to have is a friends feature, where you can create a list of IDs as “friends”, and they are specifically highlighted on the map or list so you can follow people you know.

Hi, auto refresh and self tracking has been implemented in the 2.1 release with Extension purchased. For the multiple tracking for friends, I will consider it in future development.Thanks for your feedback!

This app is amazing for being a pilot on VATSIM. I have it on both my iPad and iPhone. However just recently, it isn’t working on my iPhone 8 Plus. App opens then closes before data is even pulled from the server. App has been deleted and reinstalled. No issues on the iPad.

Hi, the data server used by VatScope is down recently and the app cannot handle this exception. This lead the app to crash every time when startup. Please update to the latest version and the issue should be fixed. Sorry for any inconvenience.
