Description

Nurture a small pot of succulents that grow in real time.

Viridi is a safe haven, a place you can return to for a moment of peace and quiet whenever, and wherever you need it.

While not fully realistic (they're very forgiving), your succulents will require some maintenance and can die from over- or under-watering. Name your favorite plants, give them special care and attention, and they might even flower for you.

Viridi is free to try and comes with your choice of plant assortment. If you think it has a place in your life, you can buy your favorite plants from the in-game nursery for just a few cents a piece. Remember to visit the nursery occasionally for your weekly free seeding!

Great Game! A Suggestion I Hope You Add

I really like the game so far! It is super relaxing and the music is rather calming. Viridi is wonderful as a relaxation game to me, because unlike other “idle” games, it is not a chore. I like how Viridi is a calming game that lives on its purpose: It does not add stress to your brain by requiring you to collect, gain, or complete something. You can just sit and relax. Never have I played a relaxing game that does not involve gaining in-game money to upgrade, or do tasks that would have made the game a “chore!”

However, I do want to add some suggestions. I am aware that Viridi is only a young game, so I get that there are microtransactions. However, I would like a couple more ways to get succulents for free, maybe by watching ads by choice or gaining free succulents a little more frequently. Additionally, maybe there should be more active pots, despite the fact players can get one for $5. No need to add too many pots, but I would like a second pot to create yet another relaxing scene. One pot is relaxing for me, but not merely fun enough. I would like more than this, but perhaps you can save it for a future update (when Viridi can stand on its own, as there are enough funds).

I look forward for updates. Please update, as it has been a while as I noted. I love this game!

Very Relaxing!

Don't listen to all those one-star reviews, Viridi is truly a great game! I love the graphics, the music, and how you get a free seedling every week! There's also a very pretty variety of different succulents you can obtain too! I let out a little chuckle when I tapped on the snail, hit the spray button, and the text at the bottom that normally says "Wow Cute" described the snail being wet Lol. I also like how the succulents actually grow in real time too! And besides, even if you don't like the game, it's free, so you don't waste any money on it. I even showed this game to my mom and she then proceeded to download it as well, and now once in a while we'll show each other our succulents if we want to! Plus, I grow succulents irl too, so that kinda boosts my appreciation for this game! Overall, it's a wonderful and relaxing game, and I recommend it to anyone who needs some relaxation, and/or wants to take care of some plants.

Edit: Please fix the bug where you lose progress in the game if you do certain things, such as the time I had beautiful vibrant flowers on all my succulents, but when I returned to the app after a split second, they were gone! This has also happened when I was getting my weekly seedling: I went to try to plant the seedling, and I couldn't put it anywhere, so I had to make room; but when I exited out of the seedling planting interface, most of my flowers were completely missing! Please fix this!!!

Relaxing! Some suggestions...

I love it. I've been growing real succulents for over a year now and this captures it perfectly. Some may complain about the seedlings needing to be bought but honestly I find it reasonable. This is a free app and instead of spamming us with ads in what's supposed to be a peaceful game, you make the seedlings require real money. That's pretty cool of you. Also I've seen some people say the colors were dull when actually that's the point. Dull, light colors are more relaxing than neon.
I have a little suggestion for the future. For some real succulents, you can propagate them by leaf. You could have a "break" option on some of them which then gives it a new status that's "startled" that hinders it's growth and you have to sing to the plant to calm it down. Then the leaf can be in the "your seedlings" section.
But that's for the future. For now, try and fix the bugs that you have. I haven't played this for too long, but I'm really enjoying this. Keep up the good work! I'm feeling relaxed every day by this.
