Chapter 2 and 3
I really enjoy this game! I finished the Chapter 1 puzzles, and I can’t wait til’ Chapter 2! I feel like this game has tons of potential, so if you brought more exploring type puzzles, trying to find out what happed to their old village and (eventually) have an ending to the game, starting a Origins 3 would be awesome! I love the graphics of this game compared to other VV I have played, the other VVs have and old vibe to them, this game has a more modern gaming layout that I love. I think the lava stone is a brilliant idea, how it’s not one of those games where you have to pay for lava stone to “speed” up building gives the game a nostalgic element underneath that attracts players. I think that on IOS devices(iPhones) the game layout feels cramped. Also on the landscape I don’t think lava rivers are realistic and makes the game feel cartoony. If you make a VV Origins 3, I’d recommend lava tunnels under ground. Also I think that you should add a miner that could mine for lava stones and could have to make bridges if he has a cross a lava tunnel. Also I think there should be a place to check family trees, also I think having a ‘random’ button underneath a Villagers name would have people with naming. These are suggestions. Keep doing what you’re doing, game devs!
Takes too long but fun
This game is a really nice concept, and it’s a lot of fun to play. However, everything takes much too long to complete because all of the crafting times take so long, and in order to have more than one crafting station open you need a lot of diamonds that are hard to get unless you want to pay a significant amount of money.
If you could trade in tech points for lava Stones, especially since once you upgrade everything there’s no use for tech points anymore, It would be a lot better. Even if it was like 5 million tech points for 100 lava Stones, which would still take a long time to accumulate, it will be better than nothing at all.
The puzzles are fun to solve and play, but once again they take days and days to finish because some of the crafting times are anywhere from 10 hours to over 24 hours, and you’re given just the one station to work with unless, again, you want to pay almost $30-40 to get enough lava Stones to upgrade to have the other two stations open. So, while I really enjoy the game, you have to be very very patient when playing it and it has to be a game you just play for a few minutes once a day because you’re going to have to wait until the following day to be able to move on with most of the puzzles once you start getting to the heart of puzzles.

I’m not sure whose idea it was to create this game but fail. I’ve been playing VV since I was a kid and never have I ever been so underwhelmed by anything. The format of this game is so annoying because it has the elements of LDW games we love but with the greediness of a P2P game. I downloaded VV 5 at the same time and finished that one today while barely making progress in this one. And this is after purchasing the starter pack so I can only imagine how boring it is without it. The truth is that this game is TOO slow. I play a lot of real time games and never have I been able to come check in once or twice a day and not be able to make any type of progress. The amount of tech points required to just get to level two is ridiculous. The amount of trial and error and the fact that you have to wait in between gathering resources. And then guess combinations. And then do more waiting as it is crafted. Just sooooooo many elements put into this game that scream overkill and desperation for money.
Tip: if y’all are going to make a game that is “long term”, there needs to be some type of reward system (easier to accomplish mini puzzles, clear goals and instructions, longer descriptions about tech upgrades and what they bring) in place so your players don’t feel like they’re wasting their time. And it’s even more evident that this game was made strictly for profit because it doesn’t even have the same speed up capabilities as the others. So disappointing.
