Got this camera and had issues since day one. I had one refunded back and now the 2nd one i had originally bought is going bad (doesn’t show night vision as when first purchased) although they do serve the function of viewing recording is another. The only way to get records is to have it save to your phone, laptop, hard-rive or cloud service. I haven’t got it able to record like when I first
Purchased. I agree with some of the reviews I have google WiFi and now it reacts better while connected. The issues I’ve had so far:

I purchased ring for my door and works amazing the notifications are on point and looks 1080 all the time. With these I have to constantly change the view from 480 to 720 .
Very hard to configure for first time users.
My thoughts are they do do the job but not as how any person would like. It’s like having a lazy employee and reminding him to do his work. I had someone hit my car on the street and I could see at night due to cameras night vision not working 100% and did not record .Overall

Inconsistent product with horrible support
I have 4 of their cameras and it is just like the other reviewers have said. The cameras or their software will work fine for a while and then just stops working. After hours working on them, following their directions carefully over and over again and nothing works, you just give up.
But then what makes this company’s products really horrible is their lack of customer service. First of all, they will not help at all over the phone, no matter what. No, instead you contact them by email, wait a day or 2 for a response. The response is a form email that gives you the instructions you have tried several times that don’t work. You email them back that you have tried all that several times and the camera still does not work. They email back different instructions and they don’t work either. You beg for help over the phone but they say they can’t help over the phone. That’s it for Wansview customer support and you toss another one of their cameras into the garage.
Yes there are positive reviews, but I believe they are from those who just bought the camera and within a few months they will be throwing them into the garage too.
Any company who will not standby their products by providing telephone support deserves these bad reviews.
Please take the advice from me and other reviewers and do not buy this company’s products.
App keeps closing
For the past several days (probably since the last update) the app keeps shutting down. I use it to talk to my kid and when I press to talk a second time, it closes the app. I have to keep restarting it. It’s very frustrating! Please fix this problem!
Also I cannot get it to record onto the memory card. The app only offers me 2 minute recording or 15 minute recording times, however it always switches back to 2 minutes after I choose the 15 minute option. Not that it matters because it won’t record anything at all.
