This app lets you gather donated amounts of a crypto currency called Nano from various spots. It also lets you create your own spots, chat with people local to it, and enable local markets. Finally, full merchant integration makes this app incredibly functional. You can actually buy and sell Nano, trade it with other people, and buy from business with it. There is no cash-out option, but it does let you trade for USD pegged stable-coins, which can be sent to your local exchange and swapped for whatever your local currency is. Great crypto app that I actually use 5/5.

An extremely cool implementation of cryptocurrency

I am a big fan of Nano as a currency and the implications it could have for good in the world. One of my favorite things about the coin is how organic and enthusiastic its user base is, and WeNano is an extension of the community’s passion for cryptocurrency as a whole. The app works great with minor hitches when in the World view however, when it comes to some lagginess and stuttering when viewing many spots when zooming out on a location. With some performance patches, I think this would be a 5 star app easily!

It’s a great way for business owners to get people into their stores at a very affordable cost. Download the app and take a walk around your city. I’m sure you can earn some free Nano on your walk!

This update introduces a new feature - Find The Spot. An occasional event where the goal is to find a location on earth from satellite images and/or hints.
