Deleting and finding a workable version of xplan... hopefully I have a backup of a previous writable version.
Without write functionality this app is useless to me. I bought both xplan for iOS and Mac so I could actually add to my plans while on the go. I do not want nor have a need for a viewer... I might be one of the few out there that actually works on projects better on my mobile devices than my desktop. So until this app has write capabilities again. I will be refraining from updating. Also 'open in' function still does not work so it's even pointless as a viewer, xplan does not show up on the list for 'open in' dialogue from mail or ifiles or whatever. No need for this, I cannot even open a pj2 file in xplan what is the point. BTW I'm testing in iOS 7.06 on my iPhone 5 and iOS 7.12 on my iPad 2. If you need to edit your projects, don't update.
Add features don't take them away
Why would would apple allow the developer to take away features? Will the editing function become an "in app purchase" that I'll have to pay for again?
The app works better on the iMac than the Touch 4G. The problem is the iPhone app doesn't allow managing projects which sync with the iMac app version. (Probably Apple's fault to be fair. Tech support has explained why after my first post.) Fixing the task dates inside the project is a bit frustrating. The radio box language doesn't make much sense to me. Each Task requires me to I readjust the dates to make them stick in a project. Could be user error or something to fix in the future. Tech support has been helpful and prompt.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
