Have to re-login every time

Bought the X5 to have a way to track and communicate with my kids instead of giving them a phone that they’d likely set down and lose or get stolen. The app is a good concept, but definitely still has some bugs and could use some improvements with making the interface a little more user-friendly. My husband set everything up using the app on his phone and added me as a guardian/admin. But for some reason, when I close the app and try to open it again, all the info is lost. I can no longer see the users or any of the features like the contacts, their location, use history, etc. The only way to get it back is to log out and log back in again. My husband doesn’t seem to have this issue. Also, when I can view everything, it doesn’t clear the notifications. For example, if it says I have 2 notifications on the app icon and I open the app to view them, it doesn’t clear the “2”. Same thing inside the app itself. If it says I have 2 chat notifications, opening the chat doesn’t clear the notifications.

App needs some TLC for US users

I love the concept of this watch/app but it could use some tweaking for US users. Dates are dd/mm/yyyy instead of mm/dd/yyyy, and the times are 24 hr not 12 hr.

Also, there needs to be a way to block phone numbers. It seems my kid's phone number used to be a fax machine, and about twice a week the app tells me he gets 5-10 calls from the same number that's another fax machine. I have faxed the number to tell them to stop but the calls keep coming.

A few bugs that could be fixed

Like the other reviewer, my child wasn’t ready for a phone. The watch is great in the aspect that it’s always on their body and it won’t be left somewhere like you would a phone... esp since it’s summer and kids are all over

The GPS is sometimes WAY off. I am using the suggested carrier.

I like the other features of calling and it’s odd they can only voice text those that have the app. But I’m still thankful for it.

Love that it counts the steps. They love seeing how much they do. I love the competition they can join in on .... but ... for some reason again today, he had 30,000 steps on the watch and the app would only read 25,000. It’s not a big deal other than for the competition.
