Yara CheckIT is an agricultural smartphone app that gives farmers a photographic library of the crops to allow a simple and fast identification of possible nutrient. Once the cause of the deficiency is established, the app gives the further information on how the deficiency affects that crop, what soil types are prone to this type of deficiency and what factors will make a deficiency worse. CheckIT provides a fertilizer recommendation to treat the identified deficiency, as well as alternative products which allow preventing treatment for the following growing season.
The application is customized and localized on a market by market basis, for the crops and language specific to the target country. CheckIT has been carefully designed to operate in rural locations with low signal strength. This enables farmers to have an on-the-spot, on-demand field analysis and recommendation for a crop deficiency in order to improve crop quality and increase yield. Users can reference photos of deficiencies in high definition, filter them by symptoms, the location of the symptom on the crop, or by the suspected cause of the symptom. CheckIT can also use mobile location services to provide contact information for the nearest Yara office.

Quickly identify crop nutrient deficiencies with Yara CheckIT
Ratings and Reviews
This app so far has been a game changer for my trees. We currently run a small operation of 625 Persian Lime trees and I have been using Yara products to promote growth and blooms. The guide of pictures to figure out what could be wrong with the tree has been so helpful. No complaints here and will continue to use as a great guide or guideline.
Yara is it possible to add or implement the age of plant so that way we know how much Yara fertilizer to add. Could be even more useful.
Thank you for the great app.

I've had this app for over six months, and have referred to it from time... While limited, it has been somewhat useful. But recently a new "updated version" has come out. After updating CheckIT, I can no longer open the app at all... Just crashes within one second. So now the updated version and CheckIT are no longer functional... So much for the new, improved version...
