《召唤神龙》的玩法并不新鲜，核心与我们小时候常玩的“大鱼吃小鱼”类似，不过游戏中额外添加了合成的游戏元素，玩家可以通过收集同级别或者低级别的生物，以合成更高级别的生物，最终合成神龙即可通关。
你是不是觉得听起来要通关还挺简单的？然而事实上，一旦你变成锦鲤，水池中的世界就会变得十分危险，一个不注意撞上粉色电鳗，游戏结束，你只得从蝌蚪重新来过。
或者你对自己的反应能力十分自信，可以在各种生物之间自由穿梭，小心鲨鱼一个摆尾，你又会变成一只弱小无助的小青蛙。
有的小伙伴可能会说，那就小心一点，走水池边缘慢慢游不就好了。呵呵，没那么简单，因为有可能你早就自动钻进了它们的包围圈。
