It’s no wonder this charming game became an Internet sensation. Cute cats always help, but when you consider the Pokémon-style collection, Neko Atsume’s popularity seems almost inevitable. Simplicity is another part of its secret—you just set out treats and toys in your yard, then check back later to see which kitties have shown up to enjoy them. You can snap photos to share with friends and discuss exactly how to tempt all 48 felines into making an appearance. We quickly got in the habit of puttering around our yard for a few minutes every couple hours…but it’s not like we’re obsessed or anything. Honest.

I absolutely love this game. The simple yet fun game mechanics make it incredible. It’s addictive in a way, not where you want to be constantly on it, but you remember every time you get the chance. Another thing I love about this game is that it doesn’t force ads on you. They allow you to view them of your own free will. They have a cat bring them to you! The little things in this game make a huge difference (funny cats, cute toys, etc.). You want to play this game, but it’s not making you play it. There aren’t any special prizes if you log in every day. You get to decide what your objective is. It might seem ridiculous, but this game teaches a valuable lesson. Don’t let other people choose what you want to do! Honestly, the cute designs and smooth game play just tie it all in. Keep up the good work!
