It is designed for .srt files, but can also work with some other formats.

I will definitely look for a way to define attributes for several subtitles at a time, and implement it in a future version.
However, rather than defining the same color and font for all subtitles at once, maybe you should define the default display font and color for subtitles in your video player. That may suit your interests better, and is more in line with the srt format usage. (That would be different for other subtitles formats such as ssa.)
