The app automatically quantifies the user's saved kilograms of CO2 and summarizes them in the form of TERs. TERs, True Emission Reduction carbon offsets, are the first worldwide carbon offsets gained through incentivizing people to change their behavior for the better. Unlike other offsets, they prevent emissions in their source instead of sequestering them from the atmosphere.
Once you download the app and start commuting ecologically, TERbit's algorithms will automatically count how much CO2 you save compared to your country's emission baseline. Companies using TERbit across their teams can reward users gaining TERs and include the gathered TERs in their ESG report under insetting activities.
