Would smokers quit cigarettes if they knew how much they would save? Evidence based research shows that financial based incentives are statistically significant motivators for patients to quit cigarettes.

This tool is designed to be a visual aid for clinicians counseling patients to quit cigarettes. With a large and easy to read display for showing patients, this tool allows clinicians to quickly educate their patients about the financial benefits of quitting cigarettes. The application shows patients the financial burden of an addiction to smoking in short term and long term. Counseling instructions are included to guide clinicians in using the application to educate patients and motivate them to quit smoking.
