The BDO Tipoffs App offers employers an invaluable tool for their employees to report incidents of unacceptable behaviour within the organisation, with the guarantee of complete anonymity.
Organisations that choose to participate in this highly effective whistleblower initiative are able to glean a unique insight into their business from the perspective of their own employees who are, on occasion, privy to incidents of theft, fraud, corruption, dishonesty or other forms of unacceptable behaviour committed by their fellow employees.
Often these types of incidents will go unreported as employees are unwilling to run the risk of being identified as a whistleblower and face any possible consequences that may arise as a result. One of the other ways the App differentiates itself from traditional whistleblower hotlines is in its ability to allow users to easily attach photo or video evidence to a report to validate its authenticity.
Experienced operators from BDO Forensic Services will provide administration and analysis of all incoming reports from the application and communicate anonymously with whistleblowers in real-time to gather accurate and essential information that can be provided to participating organisations allowing them to remedy situations at hand, minimise loss and mitigate future risk.
