ein guter Anfang...
...aber durchaus verbesserungswürdig.
Die App erscheint auf's erste nicht ganz billig. Wenn man allerdings in Betracht zieht, was ein entsprechender Hardware-Controller (welcher zwar zugegebener Maßen mehr Komfort bietet, andererseits jedoch kaum bis gar nicht updatefähig ist) kostet, relativiert das sehr schnell den Preis.
Das größte Plus ist meiner Ansicht nach die Steuerung des Mixers: endlich mal den Cubase-Mixer - ohne sperrige und teure Hardware oder vielfachem Multiscreening - während des gesamten Produktions-Prozesses vor sich haben... noch dazu direkt zum anfassen, was ziemlich gut funktioniert!
Dennoch gibt es einige Dinge, die ich in der aktuellen Version vermisse. Ich denke, dass dieses Konzept sehr viel Potential hat und noch einiges hinzu kommen könnte:
- Steuerung der EQs (bzw. des gesamten Channel Strips)
- Steuerung von Send-Levels
- Anzeigen und Steuern von VSt-Plugin-Parametern
Insgesamt läuft es ziemlich stabil und ist sehr nützlich. Ich warte gespannt auf Updates...
Not Usable for Recording
The Project window does not even show the track name. You cant display the time in bars and beats, only in time units. You cant select tracks in any way in the project window in order to arm them for recording.
How should I record with this?!

IPad als Cubase Fernbedienung
Ich nutze es seit Cubase 7.5, ideal um den Künstlern im Aufnahmeraum ein Gefühl für den aufnahmeprozess zu geben. Da man Synchron den curser und timeline von Cubase sieht. Aufnahme starten und stoppen kann. Oder den Cue Mix selbst gestalten.
Eine gelungene App.
