Description
Fontcase is an app that lets you install custom fonts on iOS and iPadOS.
1) Import fonts from your iCloud Drive or Dropbox and add them to your collection of favorites.
2) Tap on any listed font and you'll get a preview of the characters along with other metadata.
3) When you're done collecting, install your fonts in Settings and they'll be available in other apps, including iWork, to make your documents look better than ever.
Fontcase is completely open source, so your privacy is insured. The app only adds fonts to your settings and does not modify them at all in the process. For more information on why this is important, see the app's Help tab.

Easy to use, difficult to figure out.
The app has a clean design and is easy to use. The meta data it offers for each font is terrific.
However: Maybe this issue is on me entirely, but I can’t figure out how to add and install additional fonts to my already existing font profile.
I can add additionally fonts to my set within the app just fine and Fontcase does let me download a new profile. When trying to install the new profile in Settings however, iPad prompts an error message saying that “The profile installation failed. The payload contains more than one font”.
The only way I managed to resolve this issue was to remove the installed profile, delete the Fontcase app entirely, re-download it and import every font from scratch.
Competing apps like Fonteer allows you to create individual sets, and to download and install additional profiles. Something like this would be nice to see in a future update for Fontcase.
As is, I appreciate Fontcase’s dedication to privacy and security - that’s why I’ll continue to use it for the foreseeable future.
However: as of right now, installing additional fonts is a huge issue I hope to see it resolved in an update sooner rather than later!
Three stars, for now. Would love to add two more, though.
