Geophysics made easy 4+

This is the application that will teach you what Geophysics is, how geophysical methods work, what are its main applications, and where to study this area in Brazil.

Discover the fascinating world of Geophysics, and how this science works in the search of accurate information about the Earth and other bodies in the Solar System.

You will be surprised by the scope and applications of geophysical methods in the investigation of the Earth's structure, in the search for oil and minerals, in the search and assessment of groundwater contamination, and even in the determination of physical parameters of the Moon, Mars and of asteroids.

The application describes, in a simple way and with a lot of beautiful illustrations, some of the main geophysical methods and their applications, explaining how we can determine the physical parameters of the interior of the planet using information from its gravity field, current and past magnetic field, heat flow, response to the propagation of natural and artificial seismic waves, and its behavior when subjected to an electric field or electromagnetic waves, for example.

You will also find information about the career of geophysicist and the Brazilian institutions that offer the Bachelor of Geophysics course. Use it and disseminate it to people who want more information about this area of ​​activity and the profession.
