Tiefe Befriedigung

Wer Tweetbot benutzt hat wird eine tiefe Befriedigung bei der Benutzung von Ivory verspüren. Alles ist wieder am „richtigen“ Platz, die Timeline wird über Geräte synchronisiert.

Es sind noch nicht alle Features von Mastodon verfügbar (z.B. Direktnachrichten), aber sowohl Mastodon als auch Ivory werden sich weiterentwickeln.

Magnificent app with no competition with this level of polish

Just wish it used Mastodon‘s native filtering so that I could have the same settings on the Web and mobile.

Warnung: iOS- & Mac-Apps sind fehlerhaft! Selten Patches ...

30 Euro/Jahr sind viel Geld für drei Apps, die sich anfühlen, als befänden sie sich noch immer im BETA-Statium. Die Bedienung ist hakelig, Darstellungsfehler sind keine Seltenheit. So werden Emojis teils nicht dargestellt. Man reagiert zwar auf Anfragen zu Verbesserungen, allerdings gibt man sich recht störrisch. Patches erscheinen selten im Vergleich zu zahllosen anderen Apps im App-Store. Im Vergleich zu Toot beispielsweise sieht die App vielleicht besser aus, arbeitet aber schlechter.

Für 30 Euro erwarte ich mir mehr! Vor allem, wenn man die Vorgeschichte mit einer einstmals hervorragenden Twitter-App betrachtet.

Ich habe den Eindruck, man möchte hier von diesem Ruhm profitieren und das kräftig.

Meine Empfehlung: Finger weg! ...
