Description

ObscuraFlex Flip is designed for use with the ObscuraFlex™ camera adapter for large format cameras including Graflex 4x5 Crown Graphic and Speed Graphic, and various other vintage cameras.

The app provides a high resolution live feed of your main camera, rotated 180º to reverse the upside-down image created by any traditional optical system.

When using the camera adapter as a composition and focusing aid for large format photography the ObscuraFlex™ provides a greater level of detail and clarity than standard groundglass, and now (for the first time ever) with an image that's right-side-up!

More advanced features are planned for future versions, including RAW photo, and multi-format video.

V1.2 this update:

• More responsive settings buttons.

• Fixed a bug that saved images without EXIF exposure data.

• Fixed a bug that occasionally saved images with incorrect rotation.

• Added a delay to initial camera launch to prevent images saving with incorrect exposure.

Known issues: Extreme up and down orientation confuses automatic preview orientation - use manual rotation button as workaround.

V1.1 previous update:

• New Feature - Manual ISO control.

• New Feature - Manual shutter speed control.

• New Feature - Manual focus control and lock/unlock, with haptic feedback.

• New Feature - Image save with same rotation as preview.
