Pro-Ject Play controls your Stream Box S2 Ultra via phone or tablet.
Pro-Ject Play gives you access to streaming content (Tidal, Spotify), internet radio as well as directly connected USB storage and Network Attached Storages. With Pro-Ject Play you can control your Stream Box S2 Ultra with your phone or tablet. You’re able to switch between the inputs directly from your phone for enhanced comfort. You can also customize your screen with different backgrounds. Additional features will be coming via Over The Air updates.

Volle Kontrolle über tollen Funktionen
Die Pro-Ject Play App gibt die volle Kontrolle über alle Funktionen der S2 Streambox Ultra. Mit der App kann man Playlisten aus Musik von Streamingdiensten, Festplatten und USB Sticks zusammenstellen und ebenso wunderbar nahtlos abspielen. Bei den Einstellungen kann man den „Buffer“ einstellen um z.B beim Abspielen von Filmen vom Laptop über Bluetooth sicher zu stellen, dass Bild und Ton zusammenpassen. Auch die gesamten Einstellungsmöglichkeiten der verbundenen DACs kann man hier ausreizen.
Einziger Wermutstropfen ist, dass man bei kleineren IPhones die Titel im „Queue“ schlecht verschieben kann - das vergisst man aber sobald die Musik aus den Lautsprechern kommt.
Verbesserungsfähig
Fallweise Abstürze, keine direkte Steuerung über Spotify / TIDAL möglich, ich hoffe, das wird bald nachgebessert.
Beispiel: die App von Naim. Nach starten der App, kann ich direkt z. B. das Gerät Mu-so auswählen.
