Slow UI
Using the offline available option for large Image/Video folder cause unbelievable waiting time navigating through the drive folders.
A folder containing many images/videos also is not fluently scrollable. Its very frustrating!

Moving into the right direction
I purchased Proton Drive as part of the overall package incl. VPN, Email etc.
While I love the VPN app und I use Mail a bit, I still have issues with Proton Drive. The current verdict from comparing with Dropbox, iCloud and some other drives is basically that Proton Drive still needs more time to introduce additional important features (e.g. automatic upload) and fix current issues (e.g. I was copying 50 files from icloud to proton drive, which caused at least 30 sync errors - and I tried doing such 3 different times with different files on different days). I cannot wait till the drive app is more developed so that I can upgrade to a family account!

Please report the error messages you received while uploading files to us via the in-app 'Report a problem' feature, so we can assist you with troubleshooting.
Bad integration with iOS Files app
How come the integration with the Files app does not work if we have the bionetric/ Face Id enabled on Proton Drive? I dont want to make Proton Drive insecure if I want to have a proper integration on iOS. Please fix it

Hi! Integration with Files app is built using the FileProvider extension built into the Proton Drive app. This integration can best be described as "system UI rendered on top of the Proton Drive application". This means that the Files app launches part of Proton Drive (an extension) in the background and every user action performed in the Files app is passed on to that extension. For a user this can be a little counter-intuitive, but the Files app does not show contents of the file system of device, it only replaces the custom UI of 3rd party apps with a unified native one. In such a way, when you open the Files app and navigate to the Proton Drive folder, the Proton Drive app is launched in the background and tells the system which "files" and "folders" should be rendered and which parameters (name, size, thumbnail, sharing status, etc.) they have. Files app has a number of its own integrations in other parts of the system (for example, the "Save in Files" action found on the sharing sheet). In all those cases it works similarly: when a user navigates to a folder of Proton Drive, Files launches Proton Drive in the background and asks what should be shown in that folder. No real files or folders are created in the file system of the device.
