Save a Life! - The Official Austrian EMS App
Rettung mobile app is an easy way to contact the Emergency Medical Services and Mountain Rescue Services when you need them most. It sends your exact location and other practical information used for your rescue. Fully functional in Austria and in the Czech Republic, Hungary and in alpine regions in Slovakia.
ALARM
Saving lives is all about time. A swift ambulance or helicopter arrival depends on knowing your precise location. Pressing the red „144“ (or 140 für alpine emergency) button connects you with the emergency emergency communication center. At the same time, data with your exact location and more helpful information ist provided. Help is on the way. If there is no data connection available, significant and basic information will be transmitted via text message.
INFORMATION
Info module with" emergency alerts“ - app can alert you about unexpected health risks in your area.
POI
Know where you are and what's around you. The locator function shows your exact GPS location and the nearest automated defibrillator. The app clearly displays points of interest with the option to quickly navigate to that location.

Actual information about EMS and patient transport service. Also about the new health advice service via phone 1450 and out-of-hours doctor service.
