Useable app to read Scientific American on an iPhone

Browsing the archive, navigating through an issue and reading an article works great.
I would appreciate the following improvements, though:
1) When swiping left or right between articles the last reading position should be assumed in each article. Currently the display jumps back to the beginning of the article.
2) It should be possible to zoom a bit deeper into images.
3) My subscription should be remembered between issues. For each new issue I have to log out and sign in again to be able to download it free of charge.

No longer that good...

The earlier version was far better.
The new one is ok, but nearly everytime I use it there is a little or bigger problem.
