Session is a new breed of private messenger, built on a unique network of user-operated servers spread all over the world. With no central servers, Session can’t leak or sell your data. • Updated network transport layer
• Updated network connection indicator to more accurately represent active connection
• Minor performance improvement to message polling behaviour
• Minor performance improvement to disappearing message processing
• Fixed issue where using disappearing messages could result in a crash in some languages
• Fixed issue where sync messages were failing to send if the message wasn't disappearing
• Fixed issue where the 'Failed to Sync' statuses wouldn't be shown
• Fixed issue where message would not update to 'Failed to Send' after taking too long to send
• Fixed issue where background processes could not start or prevent other processes from starting
• Fixed bugs with keyboard avoidance on the conversation screen
• Fixed bug where the disappearing messages screen would appear in a read-only state incorrectly in some cases
• Minor UI bug fixes

Its nice but…

can u pls add more settings to group chats…
it would be nice if u could mute people or if u could make a group as a broadcast channel where only one or 2 persons can type in the chat. Change dis and u got 5 stars 🤝

No phone number or other identifiers necessary to register an account.

Not bad but…

It would be nice if you could create your own password.

The ringtones could be louder.
A function that repeats the ringtone for unread messages would not be bad.
