UniWar™ is a classic multiplayer turn-based strategy game with an online community.
Players take turns building their army and fighting against each other. It is like chess with multiple races and boards where terrain affects attack and mobility of units.

Es scheint, als hätten die Entwickler sich hingesetzt und überlegt: was braucht ein gutes Rundenstrategie-Spiel?

Ich wage zu behaupten: nicht einmal auf Konsolen gibt es in Punkto Rundenstrategie Konkurrenz für UniWar! Eine ganze Reihe von Regeln und Sonderregeln welche sich aber einfachst anwenden lassen - so macht Strategie Spaß! So macht es zum Beispiel bei Angriffen mit mehreren Einheiten einen Unterschied, WIE man den Gegner klemmt. Greift man den Gegner nebeneinander oder zuerst mit Artillerie an: +1 auf Attacke! Greift man etwas weiter versetzt voneinander an: +2 auf Attacke! Greift jedoch eine Einheit von vorne und eine von hinten an: +3 auf Attacke! Dies wird allerdings durch die Kontrollzonen jeder Einheit erschwert, die verhindern, dass man einfach an einer Einheit (auf dem selben Element) vorbeifahren kann! So denkt man sich schon bald Umgehungsstrategien aus, um von zwei Seiten angreifen zu können!
Dazu kommt noch ein Fog of War der von unterschiedlichen Einheiten unterschiedlich stark durchdrungen werden kann (Aufklärung). Zusammen mit der Möglichkeit einiger Einheiten auf ERKUNDETES Terrain zu teleportiern, ergeben sich hier tolle Strategien! Vergrabene Einheiten können nicht gesehen (außer man steht daneben) oder angegriffen werden, nehmen aber Schaden, wenn schwere Bodeneinheiten auf ihnen stehen! Gräbt man sich im selben Zug aus und greift an, gibt es einen dicken Angriffsbonus! Einheiten können umgewandelt (Freund/Feind), vergiftet(Rundenschaden), außer Gefecht gesetzt (EMP) oder in Gruppen beschädigt werden - alles, was man so schon seit Battle Island nicht mehr gesehen hat, ist da - und noch viel mehr!
Jeder, der Rundenstrategie mag, schuldet es sich, dieses Spiel zu kaufen! Der Preis ist für das gebotene ein Witz! Zugreifen!
