How do we utilize all the great advice that was left to us by the Stoics?
Is there a way to gauge wellbeing and get tools for improvement in the moment?
What would Marcus have done?
The literature to answer these questions is abundant. But what is missing is an efficient way to routinely apply the mindset of the Stoics to specific emotional challenges we face daily.
This app lets you rank four basic emotions to describe your current mental state. You will be presented with a list of quotes from the history of stoic philosophy that apply to those emotions. When you choose a certain combination that best describe to your present state of mind, prioritizing them from 1 to 4 Marcus Aurelius, Seneca, Epictetus, Cato and other great thinkers will help you gain new perspectives and take action.
Challenge yourself to reflect on the advice given in the diary.
Decide on doable morning routines.
Check in on your development over time.
Learn how to live as a true Stoic.
The quotes used in this app were written about 2000 years ago and might have been found offensive if written today. They are however translated as close to the original as possible, simply to minimize the risk of distorting the message.
