In this strategic race for power, Two Seventy (270) Electoral Votes are required to claim victory in the US Election.
During the US Election, each state holds a different campaign cost and number of Electoral Votes to be won, so you must use strategic thinking to plot your way to the needed Two Seventy (270).
There are many strategic elements to consider in this US Election. You'll have to target Geographic Groups, as well as Special Interest Groups, if your campaign is to be successful in accumulating Two Seventy (270) Electoral Votes.
So battle it out on the road to the White House by running against political opponents in key states, winning over interest groups and accumulating Electoral Votes to become President!

Beyond Brilliant
This game is riveting, fun and highly addictive! It’s a great pass time and makes for really enjoyable historical and theoretical elections. I would like to see some more candidates added, which I’m sure will be done (ie all Presidents since FDR and major candidates too would be great).
A big update that is needed though is to make computer opponents more challenging to verse and not have them equating money on national groups which gets them no where and you end up with more than 270 in a couple of turns. Big contrast to when you verse real players too.

Already Brilliant could be way better
A huge amount of fun to play and very addictive. Would and have recommended to my fellow political junkies.
In a future update I would love to see some more things added
- having an option to have the states start off favouring one candidate or the other dependent on Party
-using a momentum metric rather than just building towards locking in a state
-random events or policy decisions that can shift your position in different states

Fantastic Game
Absolutely love it. Me and my friends now have regular tournaments amounts ourselves, with our own scoring system and are constantly fighting to come out on top.
It has been great to watch the strategy of both myself and my friends evolve and become more elaborate, going from blind luck to careful deliberation. The game feels like chess in its deep strategy.
