Surprising variety

When doing 5:2 one can get stuck for ideas and get bored. This app offers heaps of ideas and keeps you motivated. 👍🏼

A quick look makes me extremely sceptical

I suspect this has been written from the perspective of the could only be worse American diet.

First there is no option for kilojoules which is odd since 95% of this planet is metric, with only the USA as the last holdout.

I question the ridiculous “diet” meal suggestions include chocolate covered raisins, marshmallows, a glass of wine and snacks like honey on whole meal toast all of which are one sixth of the daily intake in just one small snack.

It is plainly obvious that you do not consume any alcohol at all on a “2” day and avoid meals whose sole ingredients are sugar, starch, and fats.

Where are all the obvious vegetables? You must have heard of them, even if they don’t come in the “must buy” PPP packaged/processed/promoted supermarket aisle.

There are a lot of nonsense diets, seems we now need nonsense apps. The 5:2 diet works but not as excuse to keep eating all the wrong foods.

Simply switch to natural unprocessed vegetables for the diet days with simple additions of some proteins such as fish and the jobs done, leaving you satisfied.

The suggested recipes are plucked from somebody’s random orifice and would have an April Fools Day joke. My suggestion? Get real recipes from the net. This app is not even functionally or aesthetically laid out...

...nothing to see here, move on.
