I have had nothing but good experiences with Abby health. I have quite complex health needs and have quite a few doctors and nurses that I see regularly. Some work in private clinics and I can get to see them relatively easily if needed, but some of my specialists work in public outpatient services at a hospital in my city and only have clinic hours one day a week or fortnight, so getting to see them for something simple but urgent is usually not possible. This is where Abby Health has been a lifesaver a number of times!I’ve used them a few times when I’ve forgotten to get a new script from one of my normal doctors and my medications run out and there’s a delay in being able to see my treating doctor again. They go through some medical questions and if it’s all good just SMS the e-script to you. Very handy!Just today I also learned they can do certain referrals too, for pathology tests and certain imaging (xray and ultrasound) which could be handy in my future indeed.Best of all, I’ve never had to wait long for an appointment to happen AND all my appointment so far have fallen within bulk billing services (I know that there were changes to this in October 2025) so have been free for me!Thank you very much for this service Abby Health. It’s much needed these days with ever growing doctors queues and service fees! :-)

First appointment was fast and helpful with the required documents completed within 10min of appointment. (Bulk billed -Medicare only)Second appointment requested by them for results (I was worried).. Turns out they didn’t only talk about my current bloodwork, but compared to previous bloods and found I was heading for diabetes. NONE OF MY PREVIOUS DOCTORS EVER PICKED IT UP !!!!! (Bulk billed again)Now after my cardiac surgeons request to follow up on diabetes, he has asked for further tests on Glucose Tolerance Tests, I am waiting on another request for a new appointment… I am curious whether I am asked for another appointment (as my previous doctors have ignored)…… stay tuned guys… PS: I’m only in my early 50’s……. So look after yourselves

First time using Abby, and I’m impressed also very grateful!! Returned from holidays Saturday evening and realised that all my medication that I need daily, I’d left behind. Then realising that the 2 scripts I had at home, one was expired and the other didn’t have any repeats left on it. First thing Sunday I try to get an appointment with my doctor and every other doctor in my area but couldn’t even though it was urgent. I rang the hospital and asked what could I do and they suggested Abby! I’m so thankful, Emma the nurse who I had an appointment with was so helpful, and seemed to genuinely care about my situation. She was able to help me with a new script. Thank you Emma and thank you Abby.

Stick to asking for a medical certificate, needing help with an actual problem is far too difficult.Needed a medicated nappy rash cream for my son as he has had a bad bought of Gastro. Advised the practitioner three times we have tried Sudocrem & pharmacy level desitin & daktozin both of which have provided little relief. The practitioner we spoke to had absolutely no idea, asked me if I knew that their prescription system was down, I said how would I know that, once it’s back up and running I’m sure you can send the script through? Then suddenly it was working again. Then she advised me to use sudocrem to which I again advised her of the creams we were using. She then said what pharmacy do we use I said chemist warehouse to which she advised she isn’t sure they stock the cream she would prescribe that she will have to call me back. I was like that’s fine but I can go to numerous pharmacy’s if you just send the script. She says she will call them and call me back. She calls me back and says chemist Waterhouse don’t stock DESITIN which she would prescribe - thats an off shelf cream that I got from chemist warehouse already and had told her I have that cream 3+ times. I ended the call. How hard is it to prescribe a cream to treat broken painful skin. I didn’t want to go be a burden on the system waiting at the satellite hospital because my sons in person dr’s appointment isn’t until Wednesday and he can’t be left without relief that long. Absolutely appalling!!! Honestly disgusted that a medical provider can’t even provide a script for a medicated cream. Useless!!!
