Description
The ACR OLAS App turns your smartphone or tablet into a Man Overboard Alarm system that aids fast recovery to rescue your crew, kids, pets who have gone overboard. When the Free app is paired with either the ACR OLAS TAG or the ACR OLAS FLOAT-ON beacons, the OLAS mobile application technology detects a break in its ‘virtual tether’ to the ACR OLAS Tag and/or Float-On within 8 seconds of a transmitter going missing. The mobile phone(s) then sounds an alarm and records the latitude and longitude of the incident using the phone or tablets GPS. ACR OLAS then aids the crew with the MOB recovery by clearly directing them to the GPS location where the MOB occurred with clear visual signals and bearing data. ACR OLAS stores all location data and time of incident required by the rescue services.

Solo mode bug
Easy app to navigate but there is a bug in the Solo mode data entry window preventing entry of your emergency contact phone number. It looks like its entered but because of the entry keyboard formatting error, you can’t enter a “+” symbol. This is probably why it doesn’t send a text?. They have allowed the phone number entry format for the time delay window instead. Hopefully someone will read this and fix it!!!

Hi frxzjyt, I have looked into your problem. The + is already input into the Emergency number box so you only need to enter your countries code and then your number. For example +61 412 345 678 you would only need to enter 61412345678. Please test this and if you have any further questions do not hesitate to ask.
