Promising, needed, not yet reliably useful
Great idea, really needed, will be amazing once it improves. Two main issues, downloading models fails, and transcription is only 20-40% accurate (and it's really slow).
4 hours to transcibe 1 hour of video at 20-40% accuracy is nowhere near good enough.

We have investigated the issue you reported regarding the download progress resetting itself when it reaches around 60%. It appears to be a UI issue, as the download is still ongoing. You simply need to wait a little longer, and the progress will continue to advance.
And we have this UI issue in the latest version(1.5.10), everything should be good now.
The transcription speed is relative to the hardware of your device. It will run much faster if your device has an M1/M2 chip.
Downloads fail - Do not upgrade
The upgrade is meant to give access to more specific or large models. The problem is they don’t download. Super slow, and they get to 80%, and fail. They are only 123Mb and 650Mb. Unacceptable.

Not ready for prime time
Short memo’s might be fine but anything I tried filed. More product testing required, not stable in current form.
