Air Display has two components: this iOS app and a separate free host app that you install on your Mac.
KEY FEATURES

Need Catalina support
Was working OK for me, but had to uninstall it for the Catalina upgrade (due to unrelated issue). But now the installer fails, saying Catalina is not supported. Opened a case with support, they. are working on it, but no working installer yet. Come on guys, you knew this was coming months ago!
And of course Apple is no help, they promised Sidecar in Catalina - yes it is there, bet only supports Macs manufactured in the last 2 years or so... and I said manufactured, not purchased. Check your Mac version, you may be unpleasantly surprised. What this means is that there is going to be a greater demand for AirDisplay with Catalina - at least for a while.
I would give it more stars if support was a bit more responsive. Right now the software is not installable!

Highly under-rated app
I needed an app that could not only extend my macOS Catalina desktop to an iPad or iPhone, but could also rotate the screen for use with a teleprompter, while connected either wired or wirelessly. To my surprise, Air Display delivered on all fronts.
After some initial issues configuring my Mac Mini’s eGPU-powered displays (macOS defaults to mirroring all displays when a new one is detected) and permissions requests at an odd point in the Air Display Host stalling the process, I quickly solved both problems and Air Display has been rock-solid since.
Air Display is a great app offering unique functionality with its teleprompter mode. I tossed some pretty complex requirements (feed Textual IRC from macOS to a Padcaster teleprompter on iPhone for eye-to-eye Twitch chat interaction with viewers) and it does exactly what I need.
The next job is to see if it can pipe separate apps to an iPad and iPhone at the same time and it looks like Air Display can do that too.
Not working
I just downloaded this app and all I can see is the iMac desktop photo on my iPhone.
There is no real-time update on my phone when navigating on my iMac and there is also connection issues (ie not being able to connect to my iPhone). I have tried a wired connection though this makes no difference.
Is it too much to ask for my money back??
