Description
Air Media Server is the server application required in order to use Air Media Center for iOS.
Air Media Center is a multi-platform mobile media center that lets you effortlessly stream your music, videos and photos from your Mac or PC to your mobile device. Air Media Server automatically transcodes your media collection on demand when necessary.

To use this software, you must first purchase and install Air Media Center on your iOS device.

The most simple way to stream videos to iOS devices
I recently added Apple TV and was advised to use AirPlayit to stream everything to the ATV and all my iOS devices. Whilst it does set out to do what it promises, it won’t play a lot of the video formats (avi being one of those) and won’t play iTunes folders. I found Air Media Server on a Mac forum and am I glad I did. It’s so easy to set up on everything, quick, responsive and so far I can’t find anything it won’t play. Also it doesn’t limit you to portrait format. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

Air Media Centre companion App not available
The developer's website annouces that users can download the Air Media Centre App in the App Store on both tvOS and macOS. However, the App is unavailable in Australia for both the Mac and Apple TV versions, making this App useless. Please use more accurate advertising!!! We're not in the 70s guys, clients are actually in countries other than the US.
